When the LG Ally was introduced many customers believed that it would provide decent competition to the iPhone 4. It has several desirable features that consumers enjoy; however, the iPhone 4 technology is more technologically advanced in many ways. For instance, Apple’s phone is the thinnest smart phone on the market with dimensions of 4.54 inches by 2.309 inches by 0.37 inches. The phone weighs 4.8 ounces. By contrast, the LG’s device is larger and heavier with dimensions of 4.56 inches by 2.22 inches by 0.62 inches and a weight of 5.57 ounces.

There seems to be a lot of buzz about the new LG Octane phone, which looks to be an exclusive for Verizon customers at a very low price at under $100. What is even more remarkable about this phone is all the features available for it that normally are not seen in modern smart phones. So all that aside, it looks like it should be somewhere on the top of your list if you are looking for a new phone to purchase. Let’s take a closer look at some of the neat features of this device.

Whenever there is a new smart phone that would hit the market, it seems like we’ve already seen them all. Up until that next huge technology advancement, what can you possibly do to make another smart phone stand out from the rest? Say ‘new smart phone,’ and anyone in earshot thinks: Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, built-in sensors, and a full range of apps. The mere notion of a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor was once exhilarating. Using the new OS by Microsoft, Windows Phone 7, the LG Quantum is a very versatile phone that combines features useful for both business and personal applications. This smart phone is LG’s only Windows Phone 7 for the U.S market. Due to the full slide-out QWERTY keyboard with large keys, this device offers users with an easy way to input text data not available on other Windows Phone 7 devices. The phone’s dimensions are 4.7, Long x 2.34, wide x 0.60, deep, so this is a large device but not excessively bulky. The touch screen measures 3.5 inches diagonally and is WVGA TFT capacitive. A screen protector is useful for preventing scratches and other damage.
